Community and Partnerships In our ongoing work we collaborate with other organizations to better serve the needs of seniors. Some of these partnering organizations are: » United Way » Community Care » Interior Alzheimer Society » Westside Health Network » Lake Country Health Planning » City of Kelowna Social Planning & Housing Committee » Okanagan University College » Neighbourlink » Poverty Task Force » Women's Resource Centre Preparing for the Future There has been tremendous growth in the use of our programs and services over the past few years. With the ever-increasing elderly population in the Okanagan, and the decline in available services targeted towards seniors, it is important for organizations that cater to seniors to create partnerships. Through these partnerships we can fill the gaps in services geared towards seniors, as well as sustaining programs already operating. We feel it is very important to come together as a community to offer the best services and programs to the elderly.
